SINIMA BEATS
FAQs

1. If I purchase a Lease or Premium License and someone else ends up buying the Exclusive Ownership, will this affect my license?

Your license will not be affected by this and you can continue to promote and sell your record without conflict, until your designated sales-limit has been met.

2. How soon will I receive my purchase?

If you purchased a Lease, you can expect to receive your purchase within 24 hours via e-mail as a digital download of the instrumental (stereo mix). With the purchase of a Premium
or Exclusive License, within 24 hours the digital download links of the stereo mix and track separation files will be sent via e-mail; the paperwork and Master Copy on a DVD will be sent in a package via the United States Postal Service (USPS).  Please allow 3-7 business days for your purchase to reach you.

3. What is the difference between the Lease, Premium and Exclusive Licenses?

With the Lease, you are allowed up to 5,000 sales and you receive the Tagless instrumental in high quality WAV format. With the Premium License, you are granted rights for up to 15,000 sales, royalty-free, and in addition to receiving the untagged, high quality WAV file, you will receive the full breakdown of the instrumental so that you or your Engineer can have more flexibility in your mix.  You will also receive a package in the mail containing the data DVD and paperwork stating your rights.  With the Exclusive Rights, the beat will be marked as "Sold" and you will receive all files within 24 hours via e-mail as well as the paperwork and data DVD via packaged mail.  You will own the instrumental and have rights to Unlimited sales.

4. What are the exact steps to purchasing a beat?

You can browse through the beats at www.sinimabeats.com and then look just below where it says ‘STORE,’ it should say "BUY NOW!." Select the License option of your choice and the quanity (package deals available).  You can purchase using Paypal or any Major Credit Card. For alternate payments such as money order, Western Union, or Moneygram, please e-mail sales@sinimabeats.com. As soon as payment is received, you will be sent an email with the download link to the file and the scanned agreement attached.

5. What is Track Separation?

Track Separation is the individual breakdown of each instrument. For example, the kick will be on a single stereo mix WAV file from 00:00:00 to the end of the track 04:00:00 (example time). The same would follow for the bass, snare, hi hat, percussion, synth, piano, strings, etc.

All of the single tracks will start at the same time so you can simply line them up in your recording software/hardware.  This would give you full flexibility to mix and master your song to match your vocals. See example below.

Example of track separation:
___bass____________________________________________________________________
___kick_____________________________________________________________________
___snare___________________________________________________________________
___hi hat___________________________________________________________________
___percussion_______________________________________________________________
___strings___________________________________________________________________
___piano____________________________________________________________________
___guitar____________________________________________________________________

If you recorded to the single stereo mix version of the beat which is the entire instrumental as a single WAV file, you
wouldn't be able to do things such as lower the bass, or take out a certain instrumental that may be clashing with your
vocals.

Example of single stereo mix:
__full instrumental____________________________________________________________

You can obtain track separation files with the purchase of either the Premium or Exclusive license.

11. Can I upgrade to Premium or Exclusive rights later on if I purchased a lease first?

Yes, you can always upgrade to a Premium License or Exclusive License at any time and we would deduct the amount you paid for the lease from the overall amount due.

12. There's a beat I want to purchase a License for, but I'm wondering if you can extend it for me?

Yes, with the purchase of any license, the instrumental can definitely extended for you (E.g. 16 bars extended to 24 bars or an extension of the hook/chorus at the end of the beat).

13. Do you offer payment plans or can I reserve exclusively?

Yes, payment plans are offered (and you can reserve), but for Exclusive purchases only. A deposit of at least 30% ($105.00 USD) is required and you will have up to 45 days to complete your purchase, at which point the package will be shipped and your instrumental will be marked “SOLD.”

14. How much would it cost to have you make a Custom Beat for me?

The current price for a Custom Production is $400.00 each and can take up to 5 days to complete (rush service is available for an additional charge).  With the Custom Production service, an instrumental will be made to your specifications and you will own the Exclusive Rights.  The instrumental can be edited until you're completely satisfied with the beat.

15.  When I purchase a Lease or Premium Lease, will that beat still be available to other artists to purchase?

A Lease or Premium Lease is considered a non-exclusive license, so it will still be available to other artists to either License or Buy Out (Exclusively).
